This document outlines key strategies collaboratives should consider when recruiting and engaging adults and youths with lived experience who were involved with the child welfare system due to a substance use disorder or other mental health challenge. Also included are resources and links to ensure collaboratives have the necessary information to support meaningful partnerships.
