BJA and NIC recognize that establishing and implementing policies and procedures to effectively manage substance withdrawal may be a significant undertaking. Therefore, BJA and NIC will support implementation efforts of jails and their partners through COSSUP’s Jail Resources, offering direct training and technical assistance (TTA) opportunities.

Requesting TTA


TTA deliveries are provided to requestors free of charge. If you would like assistance with implementing the Guidelines, click on the Request TTA button and complete the request form. You will receive confirmation of the request receipt and a response will be provided to you promptly.

TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROVIDER


In collaboration with BJA and NIC, Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP) and its partners provide ongoing direct TTA to facilitate adoption and implementation of the Guidelines for Managing Substance Withdrawal in Jails . AHP also creates products and offers learning opportunities, such as webinars, online training, and communities of practice, to support these efforts. AHP engages with a steering committee comprised of field experts who provide leadership and guidance in TTA initiatives and works with subject matter experts to provide tailored responses that meet TTA requestors’ needs.
