The breakout session was part of the larger national event, “The Opioid Crisis and the Nation’s Youth—Strategies and Solutions to Serve our Youngest Victims,” held December 4-5, 2019, in Alexandria, Virginia. The convening was collaboratively supported by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) and brought together grantees from BJA’s Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Program and OVC’s Enhancing Community Responses to America's Drug Crisis: Serving Our Youngest Crime Victim initiative as well as federal leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders and partners.
